[This is an excellent question. We are professional locksmiths with years of experience under our belt and most importantly are licensed and insured. I would question a locksmiths low prices, chances are if their prices are extremely low they have little experience in the industry, are unlicensed locksmiths and are willing to take what they can get. Remember the old adage "you get what you pay for" ]

[You can count your cylinders by looking to see and count every keyhole (or cylinder) whether it is on the inside of the door or the outside of the door. Every place you can insert a key is a cylinder. Cylinders (or keyholes) on the inside and outside of the door of a double sided deadbolt count as two cylinders. If you have a knob lock and one deadbolt on the same door, there are three cylinders on that door.]
